Here is a rough outline of what a pro academy ballers schedule would look like.

Everyone will be different, some will do more and some will do less.

Most teams would be doing 6 days per week of training, with one complete day off.

However this will change based on the schedule.

Typical days look like this:

Monday (Match Day +2)

Morning: Recovery Field Session probably 45-60 mins
Afternoon: Gym Session (30-45 minutes) - Strength training focusing on upper body and core.
Recovery: Ice baths, Sauna, Stretching, Massage.

Tuesday (Match Day +3)

Morning: Conditioning Team Session (90 minutes) - Lots of small games and high intensity drills.
Afternoon: Gym Session (30-45 mins) - Lower focus with core / plyos.
Recovery: Ice baths, Sauna, Stretching, Massage.

Wednesday (Match Day +4)

Morning: Conditioning Team Session (90 minutes) - Lots of small games and high intensity drills.
Recovery: Ice baths, Sauna, Stretching, Massage.

Thursday (Match Day -2)

Morning: Tactical Training (60-90 minutes) - Tactical work preparing for weekends game.
Afternoon: Gym Session (15-30 mins) - Plyos and power based exercises.
Recovery: Ice baths, Sauna, Stretching, Massage.

Friday (Match Day -1

Morning: Match Preparation Training (30-60 minutes) - Set pieces, tactical rehearsals.
Recovery: Ice baths, Sauna, Stretching, Massage.

Saturday (Game-day)

Sunday (Match Day +1)
